He has worked with various big bands and projects since that time most notably with Steve Lipia as MD in tributes to Frank Sinatra and as MD, Bandleader and my co-producer for the tributes to Ray Charles which feature Maceo Parker, the Ray Charles Alumni and the Raelettes which we were able to tour across the US, and in Australia and Japan.

He talks about growing up in Northern California, discovering the trombone, and getting lessons from fellow Ray Charles Alumni trombonist Dan Marcus who joins the discussion to contribute his own special blend of humor.

TUESDAYS 8pm EST

The CHRISTMAS CAROL SHOW, w/ Carol, Cindi & guests.

Where it all began:

At the suggestion of Ian Charles Scott an old friend of mine Carol Goss invited me to be her guest on the Xmas Carol Show. Much in the style of Desert Island Discs  I chose some of my favourite songs as a bit of a soundtrack to my life.

I chat with Carol about growing up in South East London in the 1960s, my dad’s love of Big Band Music, tell stories about life on the road over 30 years with Maceo Parker, about meeting Prince and other glorious stories.
